Electrical Integration Engineer — Semiconductor Systems

  • On-site
    • Eindhoven, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands
  • Research & Development

Job description

STTLS is entering a new phase: next to customer-driven engineering projects, we are developing new business in semiconductor tools based on our own IP position. We work directly for some of the biggest players in semiconductor manufacturing and for leading companies in semiconductor tool supply.

The Settels Savenije way of working defines how we create impact: we take ownership of program success, work in close cooperation with our clients’ stakeholders and contribute as an independent development partner.

From our base in Eindhoven, you help turn complex electrical and mechatronic designs into reliable, working high-tech systems. You are the practical link between design, suppliers and system integration. You work on low-volume, high-precision semiconductor systems where reliability, safety and clean integration are critical. You review electrical designs, coordinate control cabinet builds, test hardware in our cleanroom and help ensure every system meets demanding performance, safety and quality standards.

What you will do

  • Review EPLAN and Altium-based electrical designs for complex high-tech and semiconductor systems.

  • Select and assess sensors, actuators, control units and related hardware for reliable system performance.

  • Coordinate suppliers during control cabinet construction and ensure build quality matches the design intent.

  • Test, validate and troubleshoot hardware during integration, including cleanroom or customer-facing system builds.

  • Work with electronics, software, mechanics and assembly colleagues to solve integration issues quickly and structurally.

  • Improve reliability, uptime, safety and total cost of ownership for customers.

Job requirements

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field.

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in electrical design, integration or high-tech machine building.

  • Experience with EPLAN and/or Altium documentation.

  • Knowledge of standards such as UL, NFPA, SEMI or CE.

  • Good Dutch and English communication skills.

  • A hands-on mindset and the drive to make complex systems work.

What we offer

  • €3,500 to €5,500 gross per month, based on experience and a 40-hour workweek.

  • 30 vacation days per year.

  • Pension scheme with two-thirds of the premium paid by the employer.

  • Travel allowance and home working allowance where applicable.

  • Challenging projects for leading high-tech customers.

  • Short lines, real responsibility and room to grow as a specialist or lead engineer.

At STTLS, you work close to the technology, close to the team and close to the result. If you like solving difficult technical challenges and seeing your work become part of real high-tech systems, this is a strong opportunity to make an impact.
